Tourney match 1:
“The Inspiration” BRADY PIERCE defeated BACKWOODS BROWN in a battle of the big men. Great back-and-forth action from these two behemoths got the tourney off to a great start!
MR. 450 defeated TWO STAR HEROES’ CHRIS CASTRO and REMI WILKINS! Despite the low ceilings of the Lockport VFW, MR. 450 proved he’s not a “one trick pony” and used other tactics besides his namesake finisher to come up victorious in a thrilling three-way-dance!
Tourney match 2:
“The Juice” JT DUNN defeated hardcore legend MAD MAN PONDO when PONDO was DQed for using several weapons he brought with him. The crowd wanted to see PONDO “get extreme” on the nefarious DUNN, unfortunately the rules of the tourney dictated otherwise.
RESISTANCE Pro owners GABRIEL and JACQUES BARON came to the ring with their families and the THOMPSON family to pay tribute to the spirit of SAM THOMPSON. The entire crowd was in tears as everyone spoke from the heart regarding the impetus for the day’s activities. It was also announced that the Samuel J. Thompson Memorial Tournament is now officially an annual event for R-Pro!
Tourney Match 3:
“Juggernaut” JON MALUS defeated STONEWALL in an irresistible force/immovable object match which saw the two giants lay in to each other with everything they had!
RUFF SKIES (“The Southern Savior” JOHN SKYLER and RUFF CROSSING) and “The Muay Thai Warrior” DA COBRA defeated BODY MAGIC (“The Male Model” ASHTON VUITTON and ERIC ST. VAUGHN) and “Big” CHRIS HALL (w/ COLONEL JESSE CORGAN) in a great six man tag team match up!
Tourney Match 4:
“The Greatest Show on Earth” TREVOR COURT defeated TOLERANT XERO in a thriller that had the crowd torn between who to cheer for!
RESISTANCE Pro Tag Team Champions LOCK UP (SUGE D and EPIC w/ WARDEN MYERS) defeated R-Pro Heavyweight Champion “The Ego” ROBERT ANTHONY and “Lonesome” JAY BRADLEY in one of the most thrilling tag matches in R-Pro history!
In a 2-out-of-3 falls arm wrestling match, THUNDERKITTY defeated NIKKI ST. JOHN when guest referee MELANIE CRUISE declared that her former assistant cheated on the third fall. To say things got physical because of that decision would be an understatement!
Tourney Final:
“The Inspiration” BRADY PIERCE defeated “The Juice” JT DUNN, “Juggernaut” JON MALUS, and “The Greatest Show on Earth” TREVOR COURT in a Fatal-4-Way match to win the tournament, trophy, and contract!
MAD MAN PONDO then stormed the ring and challenged BRADY PIERCE to a NO DQ match at MANE ATTRACTION on March 29th to prove who the real star of the tourney was!
RESISTANCE Pro returns on Friday March 29th with MANE ATTRACTION taking place at The Barn at Arabian Knights Farm in Willowbrook, IL!

Main show:
RESISTANCE Pro owners GABRIEL and JACQUES BARON warmed the crowd up and thanked them for packing 115 Bourbon Street in their old neighborhood. They ran down the card and then addressed Women’s Champion MELANIE CRUISE’s medical condition. MELANIE CRUISE came to the ring and told the crowd that she has a concussion and per R-Pro’s strict concussion policy with the Sports Legacy Institute and Chicago Concussion Coalition, would be relinquishing her title so that it could be defended within the requisite 60 days. A tearful CRUISE left the ring while the BARON BROTHERS discussed how to handle the title situation.
MR. 450 defeated STEVEN WALTERS in a fantastic match to get the crowd at 115 Bourbon Street on their feet.
LOCK-UP (SUGE D & EPIC) successfully defended their Tag Team Championship against the rowdy duo of RUFF SKIES (RUFF CROSSING & “The Southern Savior” JOHN SKYLER). Despite WARDEN MYERS attempt at helping the Champions earn an easy victory, the Champs did things the honorable way and won clean in their first title defense.
R-Pro ring announcer ANDRE tells the crowd that the BARON BROTHERS and Creative Director BILLY CORGAN have come to an agreement on the Women’s Championship. A FATAL 4 WAY ELIMINATION MATCH between THUNDERKITTY, NIKKI ST. JOHN, D’ARCY DIXON, and AMAZING KONG would happen tonight to crown a new Champion!
TNA iMPACT WRESTLING “Gut Check” winner “Lonesome” JAY BRADLEY comes out to address the crowd. HE talks about his recent success and calls out NIKKI ST. JOHN for causing MELANIE CRUISE’s concussion. NIKKI accuses BRADLEY as a”never was” in R-Pro as he couldn’t get the best of Champion ROBERT ANTHONY and has achieved less than she has with MELANIE CRUISE and that she, at least, has a title match tonight. NIKKI’s “Heel Faction” stable mate JOCEPHUS comes to the ring to get her out of “Boomstick” territory and then brutally delivers a big boot to BRADLEY’s face.
In one of the best Women’s matches in R-Pro history, AMAZING KONG defeated THUNDERKITTY, NIKKI ST. JOHN, and D’ARCY DIXON to become the new RESISTANCE Pro Women’s Champion. An incredible match that saw all four ladies pushed to the limit, D’ARCY DIXON kept taking what KONG was giving, but in the end just couldn’t keep up with the new Champion!
COLONEL JESSE CORGAN and “Big” CHRIS HALL defeated BODY MAGIC (Eric St. Vaughn and GQ). JESSE CORGAN sat in the middle of the ring and told the crowd that there was no way he was wrestling tonight as he was NOT a wrestler and has a legitimate disability. He demanded the match be scrapped and he and his charge be allowed to leave. Creative Director BILLY CORGAN came to the ring with broadcasting legend MANCOW. BILLY granted MANCOW special powers for the evening and he declared that either JESSE CORGAN wrestle or both he and CHRIS HALL would be fired from R-Pro. JESSE CORGAN relented and the match was on!
JOCEPHUS defeated “Lonesome” JAY BRADLEY in a match which spilled all through the crowd at 115 Bourbon Street. NIKKI ST. JOHN eventually got involved and distracted TNA’s newest star which resulted in him coming up short against the violence loving JOCEPHUS. After the match, the mountain man declared that the next thing on his agenda is gold in R-Pro.
“The Ego” ROBERT ANTHONY defeated MATT HARDY (w/REBY SKY) in an amazing contest which brought the crowd to a fever pitch. Despite the worldwide success of HARDY, the fans in attendance were firmly behind the R-Pro Champion. Action was fast and furious for this one with “The Ego” even attempting to finish off HARDY with a Swanton Bomb! After nearly a half hour, the Champion finally got the best of the elder HARDY and the crowd erupted in appreciation.
While celebrating in the ring, a man dressed as Jesus Christ came to the ring and confronted the Champion. Confused, “The Ego” let the man know that this was “The House of Ego” and his house was down the street. The man looked at the Champion, who got to his knees, and “blessed” both him and the R-Pro Championship. This surreal moment was interrupted by JOCEPHUS who stormed the ring and chokeslammed the mystery man to the shock of the crowd. JOCEPHUS left the ring and medical attention was delivered to the mystery man.
